Diabetes mellitus
This information is provided directly by researchers, and we recognise that it isn't always easy to understand. We are working with researchers to improve the accessibility of this information. This project is all about understanding why some children with Type 1 Diabetes have a harder time using special technology to help them. We want to find out how we can make it easier for all children to use these helpful tools. We are doing this study to learn why some children with Type 1 Diabetes,especially those from different backgrounds or with less money,may not have the same access to diabetes technology as others.
Start dates may differ between countries and research sites. The research team are responsible for keeping the information up-to-date.

You may not be able to take part if:
• Participant is not a parent of a CYP with TD1. • CYP does not have a diagnosis of TD1. • CYP is not from an ethnic minority group and/or living in a low socio-economic area. • Parent or CYP unable to adequately understand verbal explanations or written information given in English
