This study is designed to determine the feasibility and acceptability of collecting and analysing blood samples as well as cognitive data relevant to dementia risk from three sources of participants in the Oxfordshire region (an online research register, cognitive disorders clinic and GP practices) to inform a larger study. Blood samples from 1000 participants will be taken on two occasions 12 months apart at the John Radcliffe Hospital. During the study visit, the participant will also complete a questionnaire to provide feedback on the study visit as well as the invitation process; they will also be asked to complete cognitive tests online at 6 monthly intervals (3 tests in total).
