One of the most widely available interventions for families after preschool children are diagnosed with autism is the NAS EarlyBird parenting programme. To date research studies have suggested that parents find the course helpful and learn more about autism. However, its broader effects on parents’ confidence and children’s development have not been evaluated. We propose to undertake a study that will further test the programme’s benefits and limitations to inform a future larger trial that would use the most rigorous methods available.
Start dates may differ between countries and research sites. The research team are responsible for keeping the information up-to-date.
