The aims and objectives of the study is to:- 1) determine the changes in magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) metabolic profiles from pre treatment to post radiotherapy for diffuse pontine gliomas. 2) to determine how MRS metabolic profiles differ between diffuse pontine gliomas and localised tumours/other lesions of the midbrain, pons and medulla, 3) To improve the understanding of diffuse pontine gliomas and other tumours of the brain stem through the analysis of MRS profiles
Start dates may differ between countries and research sites. The research team are responsible for keeping the information up-to-date.
