Some studies need volunteers who have tested positive for COVID-19. If you have received a positive COVID-19 test result, you might be eligible to take part in one or more of these studies:
PANORAMIC
The PANORAMIC study aims to find safe and effective antiviral treatments for COVID-19 that can help people to recover at home, without the need to go to hospital.
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and are experiencing symptoms that started within the last five days, you may be eligible to take part. Participants need to be aged 50 years and over, or 18 years and over with an underlying health condition, such as asthma.

PRINCIPLE
The PRINCIPLE study is for people aged 18 or over, who are currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days or less and have had a positive test for COVID-19 in the last 14 days. The study is looking to find treatments for recovery at home.
Sign up to the NHS COVID-19 Vaccine Research Registry
By signing up to the NHS COVID-19 Vaccine Research Registry, you are letting researchers know that you are happy for them to contact you if they think you might be suitable to take part in their studies. The registry is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over.
We still need more research to look at how best to protect certain communities and the rest of the population moving forward.
